•Financial Data may include your Bank account. We do not retain Credit Card details, the Privacy Policy of our processor who does can be found at Sumup.co.uk.

•Transaction Data may include details about payments between you, DAJ Plumbing and Heating Ltd and Starling Bank.

•Photographic Data may include pictures of the worksite / installation before and after completion of the service

•Technical Data may include your login data, internet protocol addresses, browser type and version, browser plug-in types and versions, time zone setting and location, operating system and platform and other technology on the devices you use to access this site. 


How we get the information and why we have it?

Most of the personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for one of the following reasons:

•In support of an enquiry and or an order from you

•In support of a warranty given

•In respect of feedback provided by you

•In respect of a job application by you

How we store your information 

Your information is securely stored at the offices of the Company and our Company Secretary plus on the servers of our website, service tool and accounting software providers in the United Kingdom and/or the European Economic Union.

We keep unsuccessful enquiry data for 3 years from submission of the offer and order data for 6 years after the end of our financial year in which an order is received (in line with statutory requirements). Boiler installation data is retained for the period of the manufacturer’s warranty period which maybe up to 10 years. Unsuccessful employment application data is retained for 6 months after the application is declined. Electronic data is then deleted and physical data sent for secure shredding.

•to ask us to rectify information you think is inaccurate. You also have the right to ask us to complete information you think is incomplete.

•to ask us to erase your personal information in certain circumstances.

You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
